Geoffrey O. Evers, Esq., Shareholder and Founder

Mr. Evers was admitted to the California Bar in June of 1988, after graduating from Western State University, College of Law in Southern California. After prosecuting numerous cases, including environmental law matters at the Orange County District Attorney's Office, Mr. Evers relocated to Sacramento. Mr. Evers gained employment with Carroll, Burdick & McDonough in their litigation department wherein he litigated in various practice areas including environmental law, labor law, breach of contract claims, catastrophic personal injury events and complex business litigation.

In 1996, Mr. Evers left his previous firm to form Evers Law Group. His goal was, as it continues to be, to provide quality legal representation at affordable prices. A litigator at heart, Mr. Evers enjoys the practice of law and aggressively representing his clients' interests.

Initially, Evers Law Group focused on complex business litigation, the defense of asbestos claims, labor claims and the representation of public utility districts. It has evolved over the years, along with the ever changing nature of claims, to include securities related claims, elder abuse claims regarding financial matters, trade secret infringements, non-compete clauses and partnership and corporate dissolutions.

Mr. Evers also frequently acts as a Judge Pro Tem in the El Dorado County Superior Court.

Kelly Mills Evers – Sr. Securities Arbitration Analyst

Kelly Mills Evers has spent over fifteen years litigating securities related customer complaints. She successfully obtained her Series 7 and 63 licenses in 1999 and acted as a Financial Advisor while employed by Morgan Stanley. Ms. Evers has joined forces with both Claimants and Respondents' counsel during her tenure in securities litigation. She is well known for her phenomenal product and industry knowledge, compliance and supervision comprehension and alternative investment damage theories.

Ms. Evers has worked with counsel in arbitrating and/or mediating well over 300 FINRA cases. The cases she has worked on include many products and issues such as limited partnerships, technology "bubble" stock cases, employee stock options, overconcentration claims, margin calls, unauthorized trading claims, Regulation U collateral calls, hedge funds, bankrupt bond issuer claims, short funds, exchange traded funds, put and call option strategies including rollouts, 2008 credit crisis claims, structure indexed products, managed money claims, restricted Rule 144 stock and reverse convertible securities.

Linda L. Kingsbury - Sr. Litigation Paralegal

Linda L. Kingsbury is a certified paralegal and graduated summa cum laude from Middlesex Community College in 1989. She began her career in Boston, Massachusetts in 1990 with the firm of Jager, Smith, Stetler & Arata, a firm specializing in business litigation, bankruptcy and creditors' rights laws and real property law.

Ms. Kingsbury is also a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant graduated magna cum laude from Newbury College in 1995. Her medical background proves essential in reading and filtering through medical records in personal injury and asbestos matters. Before coming to California and the Evers Law Group in 2001, Ms. Kingsbury also worked for the firm of McCormick & Maitland in Norfolk, Massachusetts. There she worked in the areas of civil litigation, criminal law, estate planning and real property transactions.

Ms. Kingsbury is a skilled litigation paralegal with extensive discovery experience, she is fluent in local, state and federal court rules and her intake skills are unmatched. She is a valued member of Evers Law Group.
